It is my pleasure to welcome you to the Rodgers Forge website! I am excited that we are able to share important information about our school to those interested in learning about Rodgers Forge. As you browse through our website, you are sure to feel the sense of dedication, enthusiasm, and warmth we have for our children. It is our desire to promote an inviting school where all members of our school community show a strong respect for learning and others. The mission of Rodgers Forge is to teach our children to be life-long learners and responsible citizens.
The academic program at Rodgers Forge provides instruction for students in Kindergarten through grade five. The total enrollment for this year is 445 students. After completing Rodgers Forge Elementary students attend Dumbarton Middle School, and then will transition to Towson High School.
The school's professional staff is composed of 21 regular classroom teachers. In addition, students attend classes in art, vocal music, library media, instrumental music, and physical education. Enhancing programs and services are provided by the following: media specialist, special education, speech/ language clinician, reading specialist, technology integration teacher, registered nurse, and special education resource teachers.
Visitors to the website are encouraged to visit the school and attend scheduled events or meetings to learn more about Rodgers Forge. While the website is not all inclusive, hopefully it addresses many questions you may have about our school.
