From Friday, January 30 through
Saturday, February 28, 2015, the BCPS Stakeholder Satisfaction Survey will be
available online for all Team BCPS stakeholders to offer their opinions about
what the school system is doing well and areas for improvement. The goal is to
double last year’s historic participation from 40,000 to 80,000 responses in
order to hear from even more of our stakeholders.
The survey may be completed on
a smart phone, tablet, or computer, and takes only five minutes to complete, is
confidential, and is available in several languages for parents/guardians and
community members. It has also been customized so that there are different, but
related, questions for school-based staff, parents, students in Grades 4
through 12, community members, and central office staff. Those who serve
multiple roles or have children in more than one school are encouraged to take
the survey more than once to reflect those experiences.
Survey results will be shared
publicly and will be used to measure the school system's continued progress.
Staff are encouraged to participate in the survey and to promote it among
colleagues, school communities, and Baltimore County residents. A high rate of
participation will ensure that the survey offers a comprehensive view.
